Amazing views by the bay
Waking up each morning was pure bliss, with a fine balcony overlooking the harbor. The breakfast selections, notably the custom omelette station, were a good touch that impressed us every day.
Despite the lovely stay, the internet in our room was annoyingly weak, forcing us to migrate to the lobby for a stable connection, which disrupted our downtime.

Had a blast at hotel calypso! The sea view from my room was amazin and the breakfast was super tasty with a lot of options. Loved hangin out at the rooftop with great views and chill vibes. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Karaoke night was a fun surprise! Would love to come back for longer next time.
But the air conditioning was kinda loud, and sometimes the shower pressure was weak. Some areas of the hotel seemed like they needed a bit of an update.

The room I got was great-sized and well-equipped, complete with a balcony, new bags of coffee, for example, truly enjoyed it. Beautiful very central location close enough to Marsalforn, the beautiful island of gozo, and that's very nice on evening.
Views were much to be desired.

The spacious room provided a fine view of the sea. Breakfast offered a good variety, including a standout option of Singapore noodles, surprisingly enjoyable. The shower's water pressure was weak, detracting slightly from the overall experience, and the air conditioning seemed inadequate. While the staff were great, this hotel could benefit from more robust facilities to match its picturesque setting.

General standard of the room incl. cleanliness and decoration. Correct handling of checking in checking out. Correct handling of room service calls and delivery to room. Correct staff at breakfast. Value for money given the standard of the hotel in general.
Only one thing: the man at reception on Saturday 17th November in between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm. Not friendly at all when asked for a box of matches. Not greeting on our way back into the hotel. Not a good impression (unlike everyone else we dealt with at the hotel).

The hotel is in a great location for anyone wanting to be close to the sea. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. It is clean and suited us. I knew the location and the area so that made it easier. For those who have a car the parking outside the hotel is limited and would probably find it busy during the high season, but more parking is available 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. Advice if you are checking in or out of the hotel park the car in front of the hotel to unload/ load your bags. The breakfast at the hotel was good and enjoyable. Again it is a a matter of taste but the spread for Maltese standards was good.
There are just a few little things that this hotel lacks in detail. Basically attention to detail. There is no coffee and tea making facility in the room. The tv remote had a cracked battery cover, part of which was missing. This was taped, causing the batteries to move and slightly dislodge which can be frustrating. The choice of tv channels is very limited. I know one would not spend to much time in the room but still I wanted to relax for a couple of hours and there was not much to choose from. The other was the toilet. To flush it became a russian roulette. This is something that should not be a problem in a hotel, no matter the standard.

The location is ideal, just steps from the beach and numerous restaurants. The rooftop pool and bar provide amazing sea views. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet.
The shower could use a boost in water pressure for a better experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel because it has nice views of the sea and is a quiet hotel.
